Anthony Lucas is ITIC’s Executive Assistant and Event Planner. He previously served as the concierge for one of the Rockefeller Group’s premier Washington, D.C., properties – which includes the ITI headquarters.
Since joining ITI, Lucas not only plans high-impact events and meetings, but also strategically coordinates efforts with area non-profit organizations to benefit the broader community. He has developed and executed food drives with the local organization Martha’s Table to ameliorate the effects of poverty, and organized volunteer group services for Bread for the City’s “Glean for the City” program.
When he’s not working, the San Bernardino-bred Lucas enjoys bike riding and gardening, a penchant not too far from ITI’s work. ITI's latest report explores the latest innovations by leading tech companies to be more sustainable and energy efficient, and Anthony doesn’t underestimate the difference to be made if more communities would actively recycle. “Not just for the environment,” he says, “but for the economy. Because it would create more jobs.”
Lucas is a longtime resident of the District of Columbia.
