Colleen Boland Pickford
In her role as Director of Member Engagement for ITI, Colleen develops ITI's membership retention, recruitment, and services. Colleen also works on the development of new initiatives for ITI with a focus on our strategic priorities.
Previously, Colleen spent six years with ITI's Environment and Sustainability team advancing tech sector priorities on key green product purchasing programs. Colleen served as the lead industry voice providing input into the EPEAT program and related IEEE standards.
Before coming to ITI, Colleen worked with the Environmental Issues Council at the Electronic Industries Alliance where she focused on environmentally preferable purchasing, issues surrounding the disposal of electronics, and energy efficiency.
Additionally, Colleen has worked at for the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) developing organizational strategies for donor management, donor engagement strategies, and communications plans.
Colleen began her career working for U.S. Rep. Wayne T. Gilchrest, R-MD, where she focused on environmental and other issues, and served as Mr. Gilchrest's liaison for the Congressional Climate Change Caucus.
Colleen is a native of Pennsylvania where she learned to love both fishing and football. She earned a B.S. in Environmental Resource Management with a minor in Political Science from Penn State, and a Masters of Natural Resources from Virginia Tech.
