Heather Smith supports ITI’s government relations’ team.  As ITI’s PAC treasurer, she manages and runs ITI’s PAC events and files thorough reports with the FEC.  She is responsible for event planning and coordination with ITI member companies for the Governmental Affairs meetings to facilitate the communication between the lobbyists at ITI, its affiliate member companies, and members of Congress.  Heather’s communications experience is utilized as she assists with the maintenance of the ITI website.

Prior to joining ITI in May 2005, Heather spent three years working for Senator Susan Collins (R-ME), most recently on the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. There, she was responsible for assisting constituents with immigration, postal reform and civil service issues.  

Heather graduated from the University of Maine with a B.A. in International Affairs with a focus in Middle Eastern Studies.
