Brian Peters
Director of Government Relations
A native of the Pacific Northwest, Brian Peters is no stranger to the information
technology industry. Brian directs telecom, trade, and privacy for ITI
member companies.
Prior to joining ITI, he worked in the office of Congressman Jay Inslee,
starting in communications and eventually became a Legislative Assistant. During
his time with Congressman Inslee, Brian helped pass legislation that increased
spectrum available for wireless broadband, and worked closely on various
provisions of recent telecommunications legislation, including network neutrality,
state jurisdiction on IP services, accessibility, and cable franchise reform. He
