Ryan Hill

Manager of Technology and Trade Policy

Ryan Hill works on trade, international standards and regulatory issues for ITI.  His experience in the field of both technology and the government benefits one of ITI’s core competencies: negotiating the relationship between government policy and private sector dynamics. 

Prior to joining ITI and while working towards his M.B.A., Ryan worked in the Office of Technology & Electronic Commerce (OTEC) in the International Trade Administration at the Department of Commerce where he focused on telecommunications issues.  Previously he worked for the University of California in their Washington, DC office.  Ryan speaks fluent Spanish and has lived and worked in Japan, Spain and Ecuador. 

Ryan holds a B.A. in English and Spanish Literature from the University of California, Irvine and an MBA from Georgetown University, where he focused on the private/public sector relationship in international business.
