Jonathan Hoganson serves as Director of Government Relations for the Information Technology Industry Council, where he specializes in tax, environmental and other public policy issues.

Before joining ITI, Jonathan served as House Democratic Caucus Chair Rahm Emanuel’s Policy Director. As primary policy advisor to the Chairman, Jonathan worked with committee staff and other leadership offices to develop the House Democratic legislative agenda and floor strategy.

Jonathan also served as Legislative Director for Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-IL) from 2005-6 and was responsible for the Congressman’s legislative strategy, message and appropriations. He was Rep. Emanuel’s Legislative Assistant from 2002-5.

Before coming to Washington, DC, Jonathan pursued graduate studies in History at VA Tech in Blacksburg, VA. He is a graduate of Colorado State University, where he received a B.A. in History.
