Vincent Morris

Communications Director
 

Vince is responsible for managing press and media relations at ITI, as well as providing strategic guidance on the organization’s message, mission and goals. He also manages the association’s website and works together with counterparts on the hill, at member companies and elsewhere on ITI priorities.

Prior to working at ITI, Vince was Communications Director for Senator John Kerry, where he oversaw the senator’s entire press operation in Congress, in his Boston office and at his political action committee, which was formed after his 2004 Presidential Campaign. In Kerry’s office, Vince was in charge of press releases, speeches, talking points, the website and the senator’s 2007 book tour. Before working on the hill, Vince was Communications Director and spokesman for former DC Mayor Anthony Williams, where he managed the city’s entire agency public information officer corps.

Vince also spent 15 years as a newspaper reporter at papers in North Carolina, Virginia, New York and Washington DC, covering everything from NASCAR to the White House and the war in Iraq. He has a BS from Boston University and lives with his wife Julie and three daughters in Washington, DC.
