In addition to ITI's three main divisions of Enviornment & Sustainability, Global Policy and Government Relations, ITI sponsors The International Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS).  INCITS is the primary U.S. Association dedicated to formulating standards in the field of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT).

The Digital Energy Solutions Campaign (DESC) brings together information and communications technology (ICT) companies and associations, non-governmental organizations, customers and other stakeholders who recognize the enabling role that ICT plays in improving our environment and driving long-term economic growth.  DESC was launched in 2008 and in 2010 was moved to the Information Technology Industry Council to help advance the Campaign’s work.

ITI also works jointly with The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF), a non-partisan research and educational institute that develops new and creative policy proposals to advance innovation, analyzes existing policy issues through the lens of advancing innovation and productivity, and opposes policies that hinder digital transformation and innovation.
