WASHINGTON, D.C.… ITI President & CEO Dean Garfield made the following statement to congratulate Victoria Espinel on her selection as President and CEO of BSA | The Software Alliance.

“BSA has made an excellent choice by selecting Victoria Espinel to lead its organization. She rose to the challenge in her service as the first Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator, and I have no doubt she will bring that same energy and leadership to BSA.  Her ability to bring together diverse voices and shape national policy will be critical in finding common ground on the challenging issues facing the software sector.  I am confident that Ms. Espinel will be a powerful advocate not only for BSA but also for our entire industry.  I wish her luck and I look forward to working closely with her in her new role.”
