WASHINGTON – The Information Technology Alliance for Public Sector (ITAPS), a division of the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI), released its analysis today on major contracting legislation passed in 2014 by the 113th Congress.  The in-depth digest ranges from the National Defense Authorization Act, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2015 Intelligence Authorization Act, five cybersecurity bills impacting how agencies defend their networks—including FISMA reform—and the $1 trillion “CRomnibus” funding the federal government through September 30, 2015, with the exception of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).  ITAPS, launched this year, advocated energetically on behalf of the technology public sector on the legislative action items covered in the analysis report being released today.
