Washington, D.C. (February 3, 2012) -- Dean Garfield, president and CEO of the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) released the following statement regarding the sudden passing of Steve Appleton, Micron Chairman:
“All of us at ITI and in the tech sector are saddened by the loss of this great man, leader and innovator. I had the honor of flying with Steve in one of his planes and it was clear then as it is now that he had an insatiable energy and enthusiasm that affected all who knew him and those who simply benefitted from his work. He leaves a legacy of leadership in the tech industry.”
