About - Staff Member - Dorothy Adobea
Dorothy Adobea joined ITI after having served in the cabinet of Belgium Deputy Prime Minister Petra De Sutter, where she worked on key issues including telecommunications. Through her work on Europe’s Telecommunications Council, Dorothy followed discussions, directives and regulations on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and data governance. Dorothy previously worked as a Member of Parliament assistant in the Belgian Parliament where she was active in the Europol Joint Parliamentary Scrutiny Group and the Council of Europe. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is finishing her master’s degree in international relations and diplomacy. Being of Ghanaian descent, she understands Ga. She lives in Belgium, and she speaks Dutch, French and English.
