Jose is the senior communications manager. In his role, Jose crafts policy blogs for ITI's policy teams, manages media relations with reporters, working closely with ITI staff to support internal and external messaging on behalf of the tech sector, and leads ITI’s social media efforts. He joined ITI in March 2016 as communications associate.

Prior to joining the communications team at ITI, Jose interned at Edelman, helping its digital content team in assisting a crisis communications client and a coalition that is attempting to reform the Renewable Fuel Standard with a focus on social media use and analysis to optimize communication efforts.

Before joining Edelman, Jose worked as a public affairs intern at Hamilton Place Strategies (HPS), where he was engaged on communications for a coalition to reauthorize the Export-Import Bank, a technology trade association, a leading car manufacturer, and a for-profit college coalition. Prior to HPS, Jose was a public affairs intern at AT&T during a time when the company was completing a merger with DirecTV.

Jose earned his Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Political Science at the University of Florida, while conducting research, which he presented at Harvard University, on the effect voting laws have on the youth vote.
