WASHINGTON – ITI, the global voice of the tech sector, today commended the Senate’s confirmation of C.J. Mahoney and Dennis Shea to the position of Deputy U.S. Trade Representatives, as well as of Gregg Doud to the position of Chief Agricultural Negotiator.
“Trade has never been more critical to the economic vibrancy of the United States,” said ITI Senior Vice President of Global Policy Josh Kallmer. “To fully realize the vast benefits trade can provide the U.S. economy, it is essential for the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative to have active leadership at the senior political level. We welcome the Senate’s confirmation of these three first-rate individuals to represent the United States in navigating some of the most pressing international economic policy issues of our time.”
