WASHINGTON -- Today ITI, the global voice of the tech sector, released the following statement from Josh Kallmer, ITI’s Executive Vice President of Policy, commending leaders from the United States, Mexico, and Canada for signing the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement:

“Signing the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement is a critical step toward bringing North America’s trade partnership into the 21st century. The provisions in the signed agreement would adapt NAFTA’s decades-old approach to the fundamentally digital economy we live in today, and encourage innovation, job creation, and broad-based economic growth for the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We welcome this progress and look forward to working with the U.S. Congress as it considers the USMCA to ensure the final agreement is as strong as possible.”
